New Mexico, February 2006: Flying, Etc.

Main Picture Page

Moriarty, NM Muncipal Airport

I liked New Mexico. I had been there once when I was 14, and I remember it had interesting rock formations. Arizona is more outwardly pretty, in general. New Mexico is a more contemplative beauty, and therefore seems to be inhabited by those who are more at home seeking their beauty than having it dripping from their chins. Don't examine that metaphor too closely. New Mexico is pretty quiet, subdued, with reasons to go back. February was good, because it wasn't blazing hot.
